Brass Travel/Purse Sewing Kit, Souvenir of White Mts, NH

Measures:  2” long

I believe this kit dates to around the 1930’s.  It is made of brass and wrapped with what looks to me like it could be cork tree bark.  This is stamped “White Mts NH”.  Inside is a spool with a few different colors of thread.  The thimble end has a red band around it.  This kit was definitely used and appreciated; wear is evident on the thimble but there are no punctures.
