Antique Perfume Bottle Collection & Embroidered Beaded Collar

This collection includes a "Lilac de Fleurs" bottle by Lander, New York (circa 1920s), featuring its original paper label and a metal cap, alongside a glass "Triple Extract Heliotrope" for the handkerchief (late 19th century) with a cork stopper.  During the Victorian era, personal hygiene practices were not nearly as good as they are today, and heavy perfumes were commonly used to mask odors. This perfume would have been a prized accessory for a well-to-do Victorian! Also included is a mid-century cobalt blue vial with a tassel that once held "Evening in Paris" perfume. Included with the perfume bottles is a mid-century hand embroidered collar. The embroidery was done with metallic thread and tiny beads.
