This pair just looked so nice together and they appear to be from the same era so together they go!  The needle case looks like it is a carved exotic wood (perhaps teak?) with bovine bone embellishments.  There doesn't seem to be any damage, the top is threaded and works nicely.  It is full of needles of various sizes, many with gold eyes.  The scissors are really cute, the handles have a nice twist decoration, the finger holes are quite petite as were many of the fingers back in that day!
