1950’s Men’s Shoe Pincushion, Made in Japan

Measures:  4.5” long

Well, this is unusual!  Most of the shoe shaped pincushions I come across are in the shape of a lady’s shoe!  This men’s shoe is silver in color, the cushion is intact, it is brown velvet.  There are no large holes in the cushion, only pin holes.  The shoe is not tarnished, there are 3 dark spots near the heal – see photos.  There is a very small crack on the bottom of the shoe, right where is says “Made in Japan”.  This really doesn’t seem to be bothersome at all.  What a great addition to a collection!
