1940s Silk Nightgown Slip with Lace Trim – Best & Co. Peach Lingerie – Vintage Bias Cut Slip

Beautifully preserved 1940s silk nightgown from Best & Co. New York, featuring soft peach silk with delicate ivory lace trim at the neckline, straps, and waist. Gently gathered at the bust and waist, this slip has a graceful, bias-cut drape that flatters the figure. The lace has aged slightly in tone, consistent with the era, and two tiny pinholes are noted (see photos). There are a few very faint spots that are difficult to photograph. The two original hook and eye closures have been re-secured. Freshly laundered and air dried with care. A lovely addition to a vintage lingerie collection or for display.
