1920’s – 1940’s Glass Candy Dish with Pedestal

Measures:  9.5” tall, 4” wide

My research leads me to believe this is Tango glass, likely from Czechoslovakia but as I can find no maker’s mark, I can’t be sure.  Regardless, it is a stunning dish, there is a 3-dimensional look to the piece.  It seems a layer of clear glass was laid over the painted orange and black glass.  There is also gilt painted accent lines around the black.  There are a few very minor scuff marks on the inside orange glass.  This is not a shiny finish like the outside.  I have tried to picture this.  The dish is very heavy, a nice quality piece.  It is an ideal autumn accent!
