1910’s American Needle Co’s Needle Cabinet, Store Counter Display

Measures:  5.25” tall, 12.5” wide, 6.5” deep

This lovely little cabinet has all its original drawer pulls and a beautifully aged patina!  The American Needle Company started as an importer of needles in 1918, it has evolved over the past 100+ years and is now a leading manufacturer of headwear!  Today, American Needle holds licenses for several major sports leagues! The drawer fronts have the words “American Needle Co’s Needles” in gilt paint, though faded, it is still readable.  There is a lock in the bottom drawer, but the key has gone missing over the years, I believe this lock is a later addition but still very old.  The drawers don’t slide in all the way, but they do close.  There is some abstract art on one end of the top drawer, please see photo.  The drawers are very solid.  There is some chipping to the bottom drawer on the top of the drawer front, see photo.  Overall, this is a very sturdy, heavy little cabinet from a company with a very interesting history!
