1902 Singer Sewing Machines Handheld Fan

Measures:  12.5” tall including 4” wooden handle, 8” wide

This fan proclaims that it is the fifty first season of the Singer Manufacturing Co.  Singer was founded in 1851, which dates this fan to 1902!  It is in remarkable condition, there are no tears, the edges aren’t even bent!  The lithograph on the front is sharp and colorful featuring two birds sitting on what could be an apple tree branch.  The back of the fan has a very convincing advertisement for Singer Sewing Machines – offering 3 types and a complete set of attachments with each!  The wooden paddle handle is not broken, there are some age spots on the back, but it is solidly in place.  A beautiful and unique piece to add to sewing room décor!
