Measures:  5.5” tall

William Nye was a marketing genius.  He sold his oils as specialty oils, when sewing machines and bicycles were introduced around 1889, he bottled Nye’s Finest Sewing Machine and Bicycle Oil.  Nye started the company in his New Bedford, MA kitchen in 1865 and it grew from there!  This bottle is in wonderful condition, the label is complete and easily readable, the original wooden cork is in the top and there is about an inch of what I can only assume is the original oil remaining in the bottle!  What a great and very rare find!
