This beaded pin cushion was likely made by the Iroquois Native Americans in the late Victorian era around 1890-1900. These were made to sell to tourists at various attractions, such as Niagara Falls. This particular pin cushion opens so that pins could be stored inside. In amazing condition, I don’t believe any of the beads are missing, the fabric is pristine and vibrant. There is a tulip on the front and a songbird on the back. This pin cushion is the most complete and unspoiled example of this artwork that I have come across.
*Pin Cushion only is included in the sale, other items are my photo helpers :-)
