1872 Baby Shoe Pin Cushion

Measures:  4.5” long

A pin cushion fashioned from a leather baby shoe, this was hand made with blue velvet for the cushion and the bow.  The shoe has certainly seen some wear before it became a pin cushion.  The sole is marked “Sennett, N.Y. Feb 23, 1872”.  The baby who outgrew this little shoe in 1872 would be 151 years old this year!
