A very rare find!  I have had these in my personal collection for some time now.  I believe they are for a doll but may also be salesman samples.  They are in remarkable condition; the leather is not damaged; all of the tacks are still in the wooden heels and the leather soles are in great condition.  However, there are 2 buttons missing from one boot and one button from the other, one sole has just started to come away from the toe.  They appear to be constructed exactly like a pair of boots for an adult.  It is amazing to me that they have survived for well over 100 years in this wonderful condition!
