1800’s Mother of Pearl Thread Winder (#2)

Measures:  1”x1.5”

Lovebirds grace the front of this iridescent thread winder, there is a flower on the back.  There are some spots of discoloration on this one, a testament to previous use!  There is also a very small hole in one corner though it looks like it is there naturally and not a result of damage.  This may have been part of a Palais Royal sewing box, made in Paris as they frequently used Mother of Pearl for many of their items.
