1800’s Mother of Pearl and Silk Tape Measure

Measures:  3/4” tall

This is so tiny and delicate!  There’s even a little handle on the top for winding the tape back in!  It is made of mother of pearl and brass, the tape measure is a very fragile silk but can be gently pulled out as you can see in the photo.  The numbers are hand written and are in inches.  The top is carved with little squares, the bottom is smooth and shiny.  A great addition to a vintage sewing collection!
