Measures:  1.5” long

This intricately carved thimble holder has a threaded cover that fits perfectly. Inside is a sterling silver thimble with a gold wash around the decorative lower edge.  The thimble is hallmarked in the top inside, D.C. Percival and was made by Waite-Thresher, a Providence, RI company that was active from 1884-1928.   I can find no flaws in the thimble holder and the thimble is not out of round and has no punctures.  A lovely pair!
