Measures:  1.75” tall

This delicate tape measure has been carefully hand carved from bone, most likely bovine.  It is very unique in that there is a pincushion around the bottom!  The pincushion is silk as is the tape.  The tape does function and can be wound back in by the handle at the top.  I recommend doing this very gently!  It looks like the marks and numbers have been written on by hand.  There is one crack in the side which I have pictured.  It doesn’t seem to affect the piece structurally.
