Vintage Art Deco Mermaid Sculpture, Bronze Tone, c.1920s–1930s

Vintage mermaid sculpture dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1920s–1930s. This figure appears to be made of spelter (white metal) with a bronze-tone finish, a common material and finish used for decorative sculptures of the era. The piece is hollow and fairly lightweight, consistent with cast spelter construction.
The mermaid is seated in a graceful pose with well-defined hair and tail detailing. There is a visible line across the chest, shown clearly in the photos; this is from the original mold seam and is not damage. No cracks, breaks, or repairs noted.  Measures:  Approx. 5" tall
