This small quilt from the 1930s–40s features a classic pink and white basket block design, all hand stitched. Made with a delicate pink floral print and soft white cotton, likely repurposed from feed sack or dress fabric popular in that era.
Some of the fine stitching on the basket blocks has come undone in places, and there are a few small mends. These signs of age are subtle and mainly visible up close. A great example of Depression-era needlework.
Featured item only included in the sale, other items are my photo helpers :-)
*As with most antique textiles, signs of age are expected. If you’d like additional photos or a video, feel free to message me.
**Most quilts have been stored for some time. While I do not sell anything with strong or unpleasant odors, they may have a light storage scent. I air them outside before listing to freshen them up.**
