Vintage Hand Stitched Flannel Christmas Stockings

Measure:  11” top to toe, 3.5” wide

These stockings were lovingly hand stitched and the tops hand crocheted.  They are quite petite and would fit a very modest amount of stuffing but that is what is so charming about them!  Perhaps they were made for the new babies in the family?  The material is a nice weight of flannel and I’ve just noticed there is a slight difference in the yarns around the top.  No doubt whatever was on hand was what was used.  There is no damage to either stocking, they are ready to hang once again!
