Victorian Era Watch Fob with Gold Plated Accents Marked “F&B”

Measures: 12 inches long

This watch fob was made in the late 1800s or early 1900s by Foster and Bailey, a company that was founded in Providence, Rhode Island in 1878.  This piece was made for a lady's pocket watch. The black material does have some fraying along the edges. The gold accents are in very good condition, as is the crystal jewel on one end.  The other end has a toggle which would go through a buttonhole. The latch holding the crystal jewel is marked F&B on the inside.
