Richly detailed vintage hat, dating to the late 1920s or early 1930s. Made of green velvet hand-embellished with black glass seed beads in geometric and vine-like patterns. Fully lined in green satin, the hat features a soft, rounded crown and fold-over top band. Inside band circumference is approximately 21.5".
This piece has been worn and loved. Beads are coming loose in several places, and there are two areas along the top fold where the seams have come apart—these are not visible when worn, as they are tucked into the folds. Velvet has some thinning in spots consistent with age. Despite this, the hat remains in good, wearable vintage condition—perfect for period costuming, display, or gentle daily use.
