Beautiful antique hanging ceiling light fixture featuring a frosted glass shade with hand painted blue florals on the inside and a subtle embossed texture. The fixture includes a decorative metal fitter and canopy with scroll detailing—possibly pressed tin or mixed metals—with a chain that appears to be copper (9 links, approx. 15"). The full glass-and-metal fixture portion measures 7", the canopy is approx. 9", and the glass shade is 5.5" across at the base.
There is one small, stable crack in the glass as shown, but no chips. The metal components are free of dents and have a warm aged patina. Pull chain switch is broken but still functional. This piece retains its original cloth-covered wiring and must be rewired by a professional for use. It would also make a beautiful decorative piece.
